Introduction
9 Miles Swimming Academy was founded in the UAE in 2023. The name derives from a local beach in Cape Town, South Africa, where our founder, Coach Kyle, learned to swim for the first time. He found his passion for coaching swimming through his mentor, Uncle Paul. With over 10 years of experience, Coach Kyle is passionate about teaching swimming and puts the swimmers at the heart of everything he does.
Mission
Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive family-run swimming academy, dedicated to providing a safe, purposeful, and engaging environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are committed to helping every individual fulfill their full potential, make meaningful progress, and develop not only as swimmers but also as confident and well-rounded individuals. By fostering a supportive community and delivering high-quality instruction, we strive to instill a lifelong love for swimming and empower our students with essential skills, discipline, and resilience.
